Salathiso is a group of mostly single mothers from Khayelitsha, outside Cape Town. As a collective they started making the Hot Box as a way of cutting down on their own energy costs. Now the product is in demand not only in their community, but also beyond. What started as a solution to their own needs, has become an income-generating project, providing them with the means to support their families.

How can you save money and support these women at the same time?
